Visualization names are presented at the bottom of the visualization panel within the Dashboard. Users can hover over the grey question mark for details about the visualization.
Users can also hover over red highlighted text on visualizations for details about how fields or text have been tampered
Below are details about each visualization and how they should be interpreted if available.

All file tampering has been aggregated and presented on tampered fields will be highlighted on this visualization. Additional details can be obtained by referencing the other visualizations supplied. |
Unredacted Document |
Visualization with red highlighted fields and grey boxes | Some of the text on this document has been obscured. The box(es) used to hide text are shown in grey. Text changes between the received document and the pre-redacted document are highlighted in red to reveal edits. |
Recovered document |
Two visualizations displayed side-by-side with red highlighted fields | The original document has been recovered (“recovered original document”). Any changes between the received document and the original document are highlighted in red. |
Tampered fonts |
Visualization with highlighted fields in various colors such as red, green or purple. |
Multiple fonts have been used within the same field. To distinguish the different fonts, different color highlights will be used. The original font will be shown in green. Additional fonts will be shown in red or purple. |
Added fonts |
Visualization with red highlighted fields | Text that has been added to the document is highlighted in red. |
Overwritten text |
Visualization with green and/or red highlights |
New text has been added over existing text. The original text will be shown in green. New text will be shown in red. If only red or green is displayed, this is still an indication that text has been overwritten. |
Misaligned Text |
Visualization with ruler lines and red highlights | Fields are not aligned as expected. Gray lines indicated expected alignment. Misaligned fields are highlighted in red with misaligned characters emphasized. |
