How to switch from Sandbox Organization to Production Organization process

Ocrolus has created a seamless process to switch from the Client Sandbox Organization to the Production Organization.

Closer to the date the client decides to switch to Production for Go-Live, the Implementation Associate will create a brand new client Production Organization. The Implementation Associate will add the respective client users to the Production Organization as they did with the Sandbox Organization.

Note: The email used in the Sandbox Organization for a user login cannot be the same for the Production Organization. In most cases, clients create alias emails (e.g. Client+ProductionOrg@gmail.com). If your email service does not support alias emails, please provide a unique email in order to add you to the Production Organization. Clients also have the option to transfer their Sandbox Organization account to their Production Organization, but you will not be able to log into the Sandbox Organization anymore.

Clients must create a brand new API Key and Secret in the Production Organization.

Clients will need to replace the Sandbox API key with their Production API key in their code to direct traffic to their Production Organization. No additional changes are required when switching from Sandbox to Production. The code developed for the Ocrolus API integration remains the same.

The purpose of having separate Sandbox and Production Organizations is to separate your testing volume from your live production volume. The Sandbox Organization is not deleted after you switch to the Production Organization. The Sandbox Organization will always remain for future testing purposes.
