In order to protect our customer’s PII, Ocrolus uses Dropbox as a safe way to send documents across channels.
Rather than sending files via email, the customer success associate working on your ticket will create a private shared folder and send you a link to this folder for upload. The only way to view the folder is if the user is given access.
Once access is shared, you will receive an email that you have received access. Select ‘Go To Folder’ and this will navigate you to the folder.
Once you’ve received the folder via email, upload your file to the folder. When the file is uploaded to Dropbox, the file becomes encrypted, which keeps your PII protected.
You can simply drag and drop your file for upload or use the ‘upload files’ button on the right-hand side.
After the files are uploaded, the customer success team will be able to share your files internally for investigation safely.
